• Automobile Association of Sudan shows its support

The temperature is touching the low 40s; it’s hot. There’s not much the advance team can do except wait for the cars to arrive in Khartoum. It promises to be a busy weekend for the team, with television interviews, press conferences, community relations programs, briefings and of course giving the vehicles a final check before the flag off.

Through the PETRONAS Marketing in Khartoum, the PETRONAS Adventure Team met with the Automobile Association of Sudan representatives – Secretary General, Yaser Yahia Saleh and El Shabbi H. O. Mansour. Mr Yaser has offered the Association’s help in the team stay in Sudan.

The team also received some good news from Egypt today; the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has approved the team’s crossing into Eygpt at Halaib.
