The Team was set up to introduce staff of PETRONAS to the exciting world of 4WD adventures. Handling a 4WD is different from driving any other type of vehicle, especially off road and in difficult weather. The Team's main aim is to offer members a chance to experience the unique interaction between man, machine and nature. Part of the experience includes charity and community service in remote villages along the routes. Funds are raised to help indigeneous and less privileged people. Contributions to educational facilities for orang asli children, for example, is one way to secure a better life for generations to come.
Our future plans include active participation in local 4WD competitions and other events where seasoned drivers and newcomers can work together, exchanging tips and sharing experiences for mutual benefit.
