PAT at Petronas F1 demo
March 14 - Petronas Motorsports put together yet another successful Petronas F1 Demo yesterday. This year, the event was held at the Kuala Lumpur City Centre, with the Petronas Twin Towers as the majestic backdrop.
The event drew throngs of people and children, who paid little heed to the rain when it came. Instead, the downpour made the roads slick and wet, testing the mettle of the featured drivers.
Demonstrations by the Sauber Petronas F1 team, the Petronas FP1 Superbike, Petronas EON Racing Team, and the Petronas Merdeka Endurance Race Team provided the day's entertainment.
The Petronas Adventure Team’s snazzy coloured 4WD cars also made an appearance.
Petronas Motorsports celebrities were in full attendance - rally ace Karamjit Singh, former world superbike champion Carl Fogerty, and Sauber Petronas’ Felipe Massa and Jacques Villeneuve.
