Mat Kilau Trail Conquered

30 Sept 2002 - Thirty PETRONAS staff members spent last weekend on the Mat Kilau trail in Terengganu with the PETRONAS Adventure Team. Heavy rainfall and muddy tracks did not dampen their spirits . Click here to read more about their experience.

PETRONITA Members Enter The Wild

23 Sept 2002 - PETRONITA’s first 4WD event led by its president Puan Sri To’ Puan Noraini Mohd Yusoff was a success. Twenty-eight participants and four children completed the weekend off-road adventure, which was organised by PETRONAS Adventure Team. The only setback was a smashed windscreen and heavy rainfall. A Blast From The Past

13 Sept 2002 - Remember PETRONAS Silk Road Adventure 2001? Well, if you enjoyed watching the documentaries last year on TV3, here's your chance to enjoy it once more. Astro will be airing it every Saturday on the Ria channel starting from tomorrow the 14th of September at 4 pm. It will run all 7 episodes ending on the 26th of October. So, for those of you who missed it the first time round, set your Astro decoder to remind you of the date and time. And for those who were on the Silk Road Adventure, here's the perfect oppurtunity to reminisce on the culture, excitement and challenges that was the Silk Road.

PAT Invites PETRONAS Staff to Embark On The Mat Kilau Trail

11 Sept 2002 - The end of this month proves to be an exciting time for the PETRONAS staff members as the Adventure Team has announced that there will be a trip from the 27th to the 29th. The trip will be from Kuala Lumpur to Kuantan. Participants will head on out to the campsite in Ceroh for the first night and to Kuala Berang the next day and will camp again at Sungai Loh. This trip is open to all PETRONAS staff members, male and female. However, places on the trip is limited for only 30 cars will be going. The selection will be made on a first come - first serve basis. To apply for a spot on the trip, please contact the PETRONAS Adventure Team office or e-mail us at mzaini@petronasadventure.com. Petronita Heads for The Wild Outdoors

10 Sept 2002 - PETRONAS Adventure Team has announced that they will be organising a trip for the members of Petronita. It is an association made up by the wives of PETRONAS management staff. The expedition is said to take place from the 20th until the 22nd of this month. The itinerary includes one night in Cameron Highlands before moving on to the campsite at Sungai Mando/Tomato. On the way to the campsite, members will be stopping for lunch at the Hendrop and will be followed by a community programme for the Orang Asli. As usual, much excitement and adventure is expected.

Plans For The Rest of 2002

1 Sept 2002 - PAT has announced that there are several more trips to follow in the next few months. These trips will take place locally in the peninsular. Amongst them is an expedition for the PETRONAS staff. The dates and locations are still in the planning stages and more will be announced soon.

Announcement of Next International Expedition

1 Sept 2002 - Adventure Sports Management Sdn. Bhd's Director and the PETRONAS Adventure Team's Expedition Leader, Abd. Halim Abd. Rahman, is almost sure of the destination of the next international expedition. However, there are still some minor details that needs to be confirmed. As soon as Halim gives the thumbs up, we will post it on this site. Our aim is to bring you to where ever the action is. More to come soon.
