USF Managing Director Shows His Support

Expedition Leader Halim Rahman recently presented MITSUBISHI United Straits Fuso (USF) Managing Director Dato' William Chong a framed photograph of last year's Silk Road Expedition as an appreciation gift.

In return, Dato' Chong pledged his support for this year's PETRONAS Siberia Expedition 2002 by travelling with the expedition part of the way. Dato' Chong and three other USF members will join the convoy in Ulaan Baatar and return to Malaysia after Beijing.

PETRONAS Adventure Team Announces Participation in Merdeka Parade

The PETRONAS Adventure Team announced recently that members and vehicles of the PETRONAS Siberia 2002 Expedition would be participating in the Merdeka parade this August 31 in Kuala Lumpur.

Expedition members are due to arrive back in Kuala Lumpur on 3rd August from their 37-day expedition which gives members plenty of time to rest before participating in the parade rehearsals to mark the 45th anniversary of Malaysia's independence.
