Re-entering South Africa, one discovers a heady mix of third and first world cultures - along with the best and least crowded beaches in the world. One is struck by the unique sights and sounds of Cape Town, its hinterland, and its matrix of diverse landscapes – beautiful white sandy beaches, picturesque forests, the Table Mountain, Cape Point, the Malay quarter, penguins, and the magnificent wineland areas.

It was here at the Cape of Good Hope that the country’s modern history began when the British seized the cape area in 1806.

Today, South Africa is a land blessed with a wealth of resources. For the visitor, it offers a full range of safari experiences - from verdant subtropical beach forests to the sublime isolation of the desert and the magnificence of Kruger National Park. Unlike some of its neighbours, South Africa now enjoys politically stability. Sound infrastructure complements an awesome natural backdrop of remarkably scenic landscapes – an immense diversity that both astounds and delights!
